The People
Each of the people that helped bring this project to life hold a very important place in my heart. I chose the people in the band to be those who have been influential in my development as a leader, just as the songs have. These are people who came into my life on my first day at Samford, two years in, through my time interning, and through my degree. I am so grateful to each of them for their involvement in this project, and how they each helped to create exactly what I had envisioned for this project to be.

Mountain Brook Baptist
When selecting a location to record this project, I chose the chapel suite at Mountain Brook Baptist Church. I served at Mountain Brook Baptist Church as an intern for a year and a half, from the beginning of my junior year through December of my senior year. That season was deeply formative in the development of my ministry, and although I am no longer there on a daily basis, I continue to reflect on my time there with great gratitude. My experience at Mountain Brook Baptist played a significant role in shaping me into the leader I am today, fostering both my confidence in leadership and my ability to manage the many details involved in planning and leading weekly worship. I am deeply grateful to each staff member, especially Micaiah Kely, for believing in me and helping me to form my ministry.
